Nurse Practitioner
Sandra Chavez is an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of healthcare experience in acute care and hospital-based medicine. Her clinical background includes medical-surgical nursing, medical-cardiology, intensive care unit (ICU) care, and advanced practice experience as both a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner and Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner in Internal Medicine.
Sandra has extensive experience caring for patients with complex acute and chronic cardiovascular and medical conditions across inpatient settings. In addition to her clinical practice, she spent two years teaching and mentoring future nurses and nurse practitioner providers, reflecting her passion for education and professional development.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Sandra is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to diverse patient populations. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and her two children.
